Who We Are

Green Pond Baptist Church exists as a local fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. Our individual and corporate purpose is to glorify God, which is our purpose for being created (Isaiah 43:5-7). We are part of the eternal family of God in a covenant relationship with God and each other.

Our desire, in accordance with Ephesians 4:12-16, is to equip our members to do the work of ministry, so that through us, God will work his redemptive plan of redeeming a people to himself. In addition we are seeking to speak God’s Word to fellow believers as we disciple one another in the fellowship of the local church. Our prayer is that we will be faithful and obedient to God’s calling on our lives as part of his Church.
